Tonight I got to listen to and reflect with brothers and sisters of many different faiths at Tea Time for Peace, a 'tea party' of sorts where we took seats at the table together and openly discussed our beliefs, ancestries, and our personal lives. These heart to heart conversations are what make us all human in each others' eyes. They shatter the illusions and preconceived bigotry that is so prevalent. We have to start these conversations, but more importantly, we have to continue them now more than ever.
